It was my first tries to make an event from scratch. I nearly fully burned out from one try because it was that hard and overwhelming.
But still kept trying afterwards.
First idea came from its simplicity. We have a great photographers in the city. I personally new a few good ones. Why can't we just make a small exhibition in the open air?
Who would knew that it takes more than one eighteen year old without an experience. I didn't.
It was a mistake from personal resource management point but gave me a lot of insights into myself and the event-managing as a whole.
from one photographer which attended around 20 people.
that I created and in which participated around 10 people.
from local businesses.
under the night sky (for which nobody showed up хР)
of around 50 pictures that i personally selected from 5 local photographers.
There was
Exhibition
Lection
Photo quest
Photozone
Cinema
NEXT ONE WAS
FESTIVAL OF SENSES
After hard start with Photoday I had a pause from organizing for a month. But after some consideration I decided to give an event-managing one more try.
Especially since I had a nice idea for the festival. I mean, I had a name for it that made my imagination a tickle to figure out.
Sounds good, doesn't it? I always felt that senses is something I would be deeply engaged in.
So I figured the best thing to do was to make a quest. Since it kinda worked with Photoday. But this time I would really find some help in execution part. No more being the many-armed many-legged human.
Time to be a visionary and an administrator.
There was
Main Quest with 12 stations of 5 senses with the Prize for #1 place
Jenga and Dendy Games
Free Give Away
Boba Tea
Life Music Folk Band
Night sky Cinema
Clothing SWAP
Even though it was the hardest challenge in my life at that time, I think it really pushed my understanding of my possibilities and definitely influenced future interests and pursuits.
