SQUARE OF KUZBASS STORIES

While searching for myself, I saw an opportunity to challenge myself and try to make the city I live in a little more interesting.

I joined this project that was created by the local internet provider company to gather an urban community that would make festivals in the central park of the city.

So I was a part of the new community, I helped to run the space and also I designed some posters and other visuals.
Also I tried to organise my first two events there all by myself.

The first one was «Photoday», which was attended by about 30 people.

And the second one was a quest in the park called «Festival of Senses», it was attended by about 500 people and 22 of them finished quest completely.

The decision to go there changed everything in my life.
Apart from starting to do some real events myself and finding out what else I was good at besides drawing, I met my soul mate there, my fiancé.

Then there was

After engaging in Square of Kuzbass stories I wanted to learn more about urbanism from actual urban activists.

I saw their open call and send an application.
I got in and we went there with my soulmate.

THERE WE

There we researched the local place, found a voiced problem of lack of communication between stakeholders, made a hypothesis of potential leverage for improvement and arranged an intervention as a way to test it. Our experiment was seen by 50 local people who gave positive feedback.
